UNBS has appointed Japan Export Vehicle Inspection Center Co Ltd (JEVIC) as the inspection agency for the RWI. All used vehicles exported from the above countries will be required to be inspected by JEVIC from the 1st November 2009 (date of export).
The major points of the Uganda RWI encompasses;

Note:
Neither the year of manufacture or drive (LHD / RHD) are subject to this standard.

The commencement date of the inspections and available inspection sites are to be announced shortly.
JEVIC is dedicated to offering a quality inspection and service to all exporters, and respectfully requests co-operation from exporters and relevant industry stakeholders.
